Ian
The room at Old Malthouse was cozy and welcoming, with rustic charm and lovely decor. I felt right at home and loved the comfortable vibe. The bathroom was small but clean, with a refreshing shower.
I personally didn't like the size of the bathroom, but some might find it cute and compact.

We couldn't have asked for better value for money at this lovely and cosy cottage. The room was clean and comfortable, with thoughtful touches like a welcome card, wine, and all the essential amenities provided. The location was great and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
The breakfast offerings could be improved with a wider variety of options.

Convenient location, friendly neighbors at local pub. Private parking and grassy area visible from kitchen and living room. Large fridge freezer and ample cups, plates, and bowls. Bonus for nicely sized coffee mugs. Lovely, clean, and cozy cottage with thoughtful touches like welcome card and wine. Clean bedding and towels provided, plus essentials like tea, coffee, and dishwasher tablets. Useful booklet with local info. Already planning to return! Quiet spot, great for small families. Comfy beds, good selection of DVDs, games, and books. Nice dining pub just a short walk away. Peaceful location with excellent nearby restaurant. Plenty of room in living area and comfortable bedrooms. Small but well-equipped kitchen with washing machine and dishwasher.

The location was great, very peaceful and surrounded by beautiful scenery. It was also conveniently located near a fantastic restaurant that was just a short walk away. The beds were very comfortable and the bedrooms were spacious. The living room had plenty of room and a great selection of DVDs, especially for kids. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything you need for an extended stay, including a washing machine and dishwasher.
One downside was that there was no food provided, so make sure to bring your own groceries as the nearest shops are quite a drive away. Additionally, the parking situation was a bit of a headache as there was a neighbor who got angry if you parked in their space, and the gate opened outwards onto the road, making it difficult to see if any cars were coming.
